Ivan Orlenko is a Ukrainian film director and scriptwriter. Ivan has also worked as a theater director in the theaters of Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine. His first short film Playground was selected by European Short Pitch in 2015. His second short film In our synagogue is a first Ukrainian fiction film in Yiddish language (World premiere – Tampere Film Festival 2019). The film has won a number of awards including FIPRESCI award of Odesa International Film Festival. Ivan is currently working on his debut feature film.

Madagascarplan is a Ukrainian-German co-production in development. Currently we are about to produce a first teaser. Producer Alexander Krasenkov from Kyiv and Charlotte Krüger from Berlin met each other in November 2020 when reporting about Russia's hybrid war on Ukraine. We are dedicated to bringing this important and thoughtful story to a broad audience.
